A rare visitor

I have managed to get bird feeders with cages around them that thwart the jackdaws and magpies. However I now have to wait for the other birds to return. At least this House Sparrow is enjoying a quiet meal, amazing he is on the Red RSPB list.

Hi padlock...nice to see you on here......... We had one of these feeders, it was supposed to be squirrel proof. No birds went inside it but the squirrels loved it! At least that sparrow has a few brains!

I was very honoured to see a family of sparrows taking a dust bath tonight. I wish our little birds would go into our feeder like this, they just ignore it.
