I think this bird is a juvenile due to the white patch at the end of the beak and the dappled effect on the chest. One of many shots taken today after a two hour wait for the appearance. @pixiemac was able to get her shot of a Kingfisher on a branch. Now all she needs is to get one with a fish in its beak and she may be happy. Great to see the Kingfisher but better still to see Sarah's face after she had got a shot at last. Well done Sarah.
