Female Kingfisher hovering ready to fish.

Well seven months of sitting by rivers, in hides and I finally captured a Kingfisher hovering for a fish. They usually use a perch but if need be they hover like a hummingbird then drop like a stone onto the fish. This female was very co-operative today and spent a long time near me before she decided to fish about 15m from me. Very pleased with the result.
