Taken at some distance but I was surprised by the ferocity of the fight. If a walker hadn't come along the path then I think the Blackbird at the top would have killed the other.

Great action shot. They really do go at it. We've got a blackbird in our garden who thinks he's the ruler of the roost and he's always chasing the others off. They look quite vicious in this shot
