@xodiac That's what I thought too but a friend who has lived in Hawaii and has studied horticulture tells me that they are plumeria.
@shanne I thought that rainbow spot was interesting too!

Very pretty. Definitely not magnolia. Those things are massive. I took a picture of one in June that was bigger than my hand.
