The silver streak is a seal who came into our lagoon today.
This picture is dedicated to the land of my birth and to two men, my Dad and my Uncle Al; both were pilots in the Fleet Air Arm of the navies of New Zealand, UK and Canada between 1940 and 1945.
Dad left us in 2005- he was a big fan of the All Blacks. His ancestors arrived in New Zealand in about 1840.
Uncle Al turns 91 on October 30 and is fighting the good fight in hospital in Kingston, Ontario.
He and my Dad met and married sisters in Kingston while training.
I raise a glass to the All Blacks on behalf of Tom Fairweather and Al Burgham!
