As we near the end of our Snowpeep Series, let us pause in memory of this dearly departed snowpeep. This is his portrait taken when he arrived here at the beginning of his short life. He was a gift in 2009, from Punkin, a friend in Ohio, and was a treasured member of the collection. It is indeed ironic, that, having been placed high up in the tree to protect him from marauding cats, he met his demise at the hands of his owner. She was trying to remove a string of lights, which had a short circuit and threatened the safety of the whole collection, when her hands knocked him loose and he fell to the floor and shattered into many fragments. May he rest in pieces.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered.
