Dining Room

I live in the coastal fog belt, in the rainy redwoods and I love it, but the lack of blue sky was making me depressed and I'd catch myself feeling better if I stared at something sky blue. I caved and painted the walls smurf blue in this one room and the color therapy has made me smile a lot ever since
You live in a gorgeous area . . but that's a great color that you used on the walls! I'd love living there, because I really love foggy and rainy weather.

@karenann They say one redwood drinks 500 gallons of water a day and most through the fog. Thanks for how often you pop up here with a comment

I love the bright colors! The border along the windows/door looks to be about the same yellow as my kitchen. After I painted my kitchen my sister told me that she felt like taking a black marker to it to make smiley faces. Hee hee. But I like the bright colors; they certainly make the dreary days and long winter just a bit better.

I think it would be fun to sit in your dinning room! That color should make everyone happy and of course- if you need to brighten up the rainy weather- by all means!! We're getting a taste of what life is like for you all the time this year. It's been so rainy! As I type we are having more rain and flooding is expected once more. That's pretty interesting about the redwoods. Fun shot!

@hoosierhokie My husband says I used smurf blue and piccachu yellow. @olivetreeann I grew up in a high desert with 7 to 9 inches all as several feet of snow Other than gully washers there was no flooding, and here the ground is incredibly absorbent.
