Carla Smith asked about the water in our marshes year round, and the best way I know to answer that is to show some of the shots I've taken over the years of the salt grass marsh. The slough from yesterday doesn't change much, although it rises and lowers a bit, but these places can be dry as a bone or flooded
What beautiful photos you have there, Dixie. Love the changes . . not just of the water but of the sky colors too. You've been taking pics for awhile now. Great way to keep a visual history of the land.
It reminds me of the seasonal shots I take of the Bushkill. In Spring it's at higher levels. In the summer it's lower. Nice montage of all the different water levels.
