What?

We were out enjoying the sun, yes his wings are clipped and I have a firm grip on a foot. He kept staring around like the world without rain was something he didn't recognize
He is one gorgeous bird ... amazing colors! I love his face and expressions! Does he "talk," Dixie? And is he one of those guys that live forever? Just love to see them in a store and watch them interact with customers. Beautiful capture. BTW, do you have a cat ... if so, how do they "feel" about each other. :)

He is a "green wing macaw" he was 15 when we bought him, 19 years ago. We had 12 parrots and 2 greyhounds and 2 cats who all basically accepted their own territory in the house and were separate unless we were supervising. They got along ok but they were never "friends". He, I say that loosely since I never had him "sexed" should be about the

What a beautiful bird. Love those colors....wow! I am so amazed at the lifespan and wish him many more years of happiness.

@cimes1 my other bird is a double yellow-headed amazon, they are documented to have lived in captivity to 130, people pass them on in their wills, so my aunt got a 27 year old one in 1963, and still has him
