The Slough

Most days, I pass this slough as I go in to work or to run errands in town. I often see the white flash of a great White Heron or a smaller cattle egret but I am usually only wishing I had enough courage to stop and explore a bit. For this month I have promised myself that when the urge hits, I will listen.

it looks magical, more so in b&w, doesn't it? i'd have loved to see the colours but b&w has given me a different perspectives on things. great landscape. and yes, listen to that inner voice!
