The Understory

The thing about this house that really makes me nervous is that it is just up the hill a few feet from the playground with merry-go-round and teeter-totter and restroom only separated from it by the thinnest band of yellow tape. I was actually standing pushing a toddler on the merry-go-round as I snapped the picture.

"Man is immortal; therefore he must die endlessly. For life is a creative idea; it can only find itself in changing forms"
-Rabindranath Tagore
I would hate to think what would happen if a big wind storm came along!

Very scary, are they about to move it, take it down or what? I dont think the tape will stop it when it does come tumbling down :-)

@vposey No idea really, this playground is 50 miles from my town and up in Oregon so I only get around there a few times a year.

This is a very scary looking set up. Good capture though and it really made a good picture.

This would be a great photo for tomorrow's Feature-4-Feb word "underneath"

one-of-a-kind (i hope) landmark - great capture, Dixie!

Oh my goodness, that's propped up precariously! I don't fancy being anywhere near that house :-)

Well, thankfully it looks unoccupied, but no, I don't think I'd want children playing near it! Even if it did just collapse, there would still be some splinters and things shooting out. Makes for a good photo though!
