Rocky is the king and well he knows it. The blind dog Ford is down below the kindling box and can smell the cat, but if the cat doesn't move he can't quite figure out where the smell he is surrounded by is coming from. If the cat leaves, a couple hours later he can tell exactly where it walked and sat.
