living in the dark

well, playing with exposure hasn't been as fun as I wanted, but I liked a couple of shots that other people did that were similar to this so I decided to try. All I can say, is hurry up and get to March, I'm ready for color.
Actually I would say this too - you tend to run out of ideas in just two non colours!

Love the shot. however it looks a little sad, as if someone has let the room and chair and are not coming back. good capture

@sarasdadandmom Very perceptive I think. I love that chair but we bought it used in 1996 so my Dad could cone visit. He was already dying of cancer and couldn't sleep in a bed. I swear when I need my Dad I can curl up there and talk to him and I snuggle the dog or the toddler and it can be a happy place but the overwhelming feeling is always the one who isn't coming back

I understand. I'm ready for color outside. I don't know that I can take another gray day.

B&W gives this an old depressing look. The chair highlights are very subtle. Nice shot.

Mysterious scene, with the bright outdoors contrasting with the dark inside scene... I'm with you, looking forward to colour and normal exposures in March!

The exposure does lend an air of mystery to this shot. I worked on overexposure and did not find it as fun as I thought it would be.
