A month without rain by pandorasecho

A month without rain

We get 100 inches of rain a year at my house, but this word comes up just as we are in out dry, and hot (66*) weather. So no rain, but when these sunflowers were planted back in March the ground was very much like runny chocolate pudding textured
Gorgeous photos and collage. It is hot and dry here too. It is amazing that the sunflowers don't seem to mind the heat and dryness.

beautiful collage of the sunflowers. totally no rain at all? not even a drop? that's amazing isn't it? not in a good way because we do need rain sometimes, at least in the evening.

Very dry here as well. Though I'd take 66 right now. It's been upper 90's all week, and school out early for heat every day (the elementary has air conditioning, but the the high school doesn't). Love your collage. Sunflowers are my favorite.

We've been getting rain at a fairly regular pace all summer but we didn't have it on Aug. 31 either. I guess we all needed a rain date!
