Smoke

This summer the sunlight filtered through forest fire smoke and the light arrived with a red sunset glow all day. Then the moon glowed with an orange tint. It was lovely and yet the smoke burned my lungs and eyes and isn't missed. The word of the day allows me to remember back a few weeks and be glad we got some rain to clear the air
