Dixie, how wonderful to have him for a pet. He is beautiful and I love the colors. I always wanted a parrot when I was young. I am so amazed they live so long.
@cimes1 at one time I had 12. People get them and then can't stand the noise and mess and give them away. My Aunt inherited a 36 year old Amazon parrot over 40 years ago and it is still healthy. These macaws live about the same as humans but the amazons can live 130 or more
