Insta snow

Our science experiment today, here where we make snow men from construction paper and have solid green everywhere in January, the kids read a book with a lot of photographs of snow and then made this super absorber polymer into artificial snow that doesn't melt, but if you refrigerate it it feels like real snow. a month from now it will have dehydrated and could be used again.
How cool. Love the idea for places like mine. Great collage.

@summerfield I grew up where we had snow September through June. And still had it July and August if we drove up in the Mountains a few more thousand feet up. I miss it. Never thought I would.

That sounds like such a fun project! Now that my arthritis is as bad as it is, I can honestly say I would not miss snow...but my camera might.

Sounds interesting. I wonder if those men who make commercials in the snow know about this when there is a shortage of snow!

@francoise I didn't know that one, but I remember leaving a milkshake in a car all day on a hot summer day and the straw was still standing up in it.
