Spoiled

My sons were often forced to go to Walmart by my husband, and choose a card and a box of candy for me for Mother's Day. Now that they are broke young adults, they went hiking together and gathered wild flowers and I honestly love it a lot more for the evidence that they cooperated and cared
You are so right! Hope they didn't pick any from other peoples gardens! Mine would have!

Lovely and each one selected by them so really special. Enjoy!

well, they certainly found variety. I like them in the vases as well as in the pile. "forced to go to walmart" I love that phrase; is that what the man with the gun is doing? (forcing kiddos to our shopping mecca?)

Lovely bouquets and more meaningful when gathered by hand

@francoise The man with the Gun is Bob Edgar. An artist, archaeologist and sharp shooter friend of my parents who built "old trail town" and could turn his back on his wife, site in a knife blade and shoot his rifle over his shoulder to pop a balloon she held in her teeth. At six I was angry my parents refused to let me hold the balloon, so mom got me the portrait instead.
