Wild fig, or ivy?
My husband and I argue but whatever this plant is, it is a marketplace for bees, robins and hummingbirds it has taken over what was once the Skelton of a dead cherry tree and become a huge block of plenty.

I saw that Louise @roachling had posted the same type plant today at http://365project.org/roachling/365/2015-11-20
It is ivy :) An excellent source of nectar for the bees etc at this time of year when the flowers are gone.

@roachling what else I love, is it seems to be the only plant in my acres of redwood and spell trees, that isn't always invaded and overcome by wild blackberry brambles

With all that it attracts, if it was growing in my yard, I'd be trying to make it spread even more! hehe
