I never realized how fun grandchildren could be until this little lady made everything seem new. Doing things with her and having that Deja vu moment of "wasn't it just yesterday I did this with her dad?" While also vaguely remembering similar moments in my own childhood Makes everything feel more connected and both stronger and more fragile than I'd ever believed
And that is what makes memories, isn't it? Yes, this scene I well remember in my own life and those of my children. Weren't around the grandkids enough at that age, unfortunately, nor the great grands...... I miss it, now looking at this picture.
It really is a wonderful feeling- and I know how you feel. Our younger son's younger son is so much like him it's a bit scary! But then, it's also such fun. Great shot!
