Yes! I agree! It seems more realistic, being at mother of a newborn, to be holding the baby! Never really thought about it tll seeing this.

Yes- that's a nice touch! Having been to Israel and studying the cultural backgrounds as I have there are actually a few inconsistencies with our Nativity sets, BUT that being said, I still admire them for the art and have no problem with their abundance! I even have one (which was a gift from my sons and husband but not my actual taste) on my mantle. Nicely captured for the holiday.
