Wreck delay

Today Greg was feeling up for a shower before we left to drive to Grants Pass for his check up. His leg is obviously less swollen and the check up revealed that it has stopped bleeding so he was allowed to ditch the knee immobilizer. He could sit up front on the way home with me instead of in the back of the van with his leg propped up on a package of toilet paper rolls. But his leg is stiff and bending the knee really hurts him. Still we got stuck for an hour in a traffic jam at Cron produce area on the way to Grants Pass. The temperature at home was 58. And rose to 106 at the Dr office.
Grateful for air conditioning and healing husband and hoping whoever was in the pickup that caused the traffic jam, is also ok. It didn’t look good and I haven’t heard
Sounds like Greg is making progress. Hope he still has decent pain meds for as needed. You temperatures sound like ours. It is hot. I like the focus in the mirror.

Good Greg feels more like himself……it’s a sore operation in the first week or two. I remember I was told to press down on Harry’s knee from the top to stretch the leg…it was painful! He soon recovered though but can’t kneel down on that knee these days.
