I was watching the swim lessons and got distracted.
When I looked back , I noticed one of the bigger girls, very confidently pulling ahead in a race across the deep end. Then I looked back where Daisy’s class had been and couldn’t find her.
Only after a moment of confusion and nervousness did I realize she was the big girl. And she won the race when I hadn’t even know she could swim across the pool.
