Daisy’s cousin was here overnight and they decorated cookies and decided that nothing was as fun as sitting in a box pretending it was a restaurant and fish market. But oddly they didn’t want customers. They asked my husband what the worst kind of fish was and then said that was all they have. He chose anchovies so I said, “I love anchovies on my pizza. I’ll take some.”
Daisy told me, “we haven’t priced them yet so you can have them for free.” And then asked me what the worst kind of fish were. I said, “sucker fish”
She said, “I mean real fish.”
I told her they were real, and had a lot of bones and kind of tasted like mud. So then that was the only kind she had after that.
When grandpa agreed they were pretty bad, but he might buy them for cat food, the restaurant suddenly got carried upstairs and the new location was “secret”
