We got rain yesterday, and I took my granddaughter out in her rubber books for puddle jumping, but the rain stopped and the puddle holes just absorbed the water, so she found puddles on the seat of my campchair, and on the dips in the roller coaster track, and on the trampoline. It was a blast, then she wanted a “nice, relaxing, warm bubble bath” and when I made her get out ninety minutes later, she ran upstairs in her towel to get clothes, and went quiet. I found her asleep in bed, at 5:30 and she slept all night. It’s been nine days of exhausting adventures, from Dino exhibit in a city 100 miles from here, to a pumpkin patch, a birthday party, a school carnival and of course trick or treating
