No, you do not have hallucinations! There is a boat, a sailor, a lighthouse, a train, buildings and trees. No editing in this picture but I wanted to show you a Paris that I'm sure few of you know, it's my vision of "urban-decay"
Living between Paris and the countryside, love taking pictures, a lot of pictures...
Publish different ones from this project on my blog.

I am slightly at a loss on this one Helene. Why is there a lighthouse, a boat and a sailor in Paris? How did that combination end up there? I find it quite funny.
haha Trevor! That's the privilege of being a girl from Paris. I do have the answer but won't give it already. Let's see if people enter the game and try to find out...
No Bruni, just one simple shot, nothing special. It's in the middle of a street, with the train station behind and buldings around...
Berend, that's a nice way to see it!
ok, ok pfff I won't laugh anymore! This is in the XV arrondissement, in a street wich follows the railroad tracks. This is a big shop (shed) of fish merchant. It’s a one way street, so when you arrive by car you see the lighthouse and the boat and then you see the shop. Few months ago he added a cow now replaced by the sign “danger, slow down oysters’ hall”. You can only see the buildings and the train when you are walking in the perpendicular street. The owner always put crazy things with the lighthouse and the boat that are not removable . I have a friend who used to live almost in front of it and who didn’t find it funny at all!
Thanks all for your participation, you make me improve my English (… or not!) and my Harrap’s dictionary becomes my new best friend… and sorry it was very long to pick up the words :)
thank you ... you had us going!! i've been searching like crazy. is it La Criée du Phare? i might actually learn some French even if I have no idea how to pronounce it! ;-)
gosh Laura! It's took so much time to prepare my answer that I didn't see that you found the answer, just saw the restaurant! You're officially the winner of my Paris' game!
Certainly a 'different' Paris! You've all been having a wonderful game while we in the southern hemisphere have been soundly sleeping. Great fun to read the posts about this!
What a great shot! I joined the game a bit late to add my own ideas of what might be going on in the picture but I thoroughly enjoyed reading everyone else's guesses and then finally the true answer. How fun, Helene! Thanks for sharing this bit of quirkiness in Paris. :)
