Wow, I wanted to do this, too, but I kinda missed the moment. All trees are very barren here now, so it's too late. LOL!
And no, you didn't miss anything. My little bird is home with me in my apartment and little Floyd lives two floors down, with my neighbours. They are off on a mini holiday, so I am feeding him and hanging out with him until they get back Tuesday mornning!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaw, you are so sweet! He (or she) is doing well. I will try to post a new picture soon, but we have a total of four visitors for the coming three weekends (the first one left already and I am sitting waiting for the second one to arrive any minute now who will stay until Wednesday morning), so I am trying to get a bit of diversity in my pictures and will probably go into bird-posting mode again when they leave (and then everyone, including me, will get sick of it eventually). LOL! He is not doing so well with all the strangers around, but we hope that by the time we are through with all the visits, he or she will have gotten used to there being other people around. He gets all fidgetty and crazy in the cage, and so the visitor and I will sit far away and my husband will sit with him and they will "talk" and then he calms down... We think the one who just left was particularly upsetting, because he was bald, and the three others all have hair, so maybe all will go much smoother. LOL!
Oh, and he is currently looking very scruffy, because he is getting his adult feathers. Very very untidy birdie: loosing feathers, getting new ones that have all sorts of strange lenghts...
This is a wonderful shot of Autumn in action. very well caught. I would copy it but all the leaves are gone, so must book mark it for next year, if you dont mind.
