Thank you very much, to each of you for your kind comments on my pictures. You know I always appreciate a lot. I don't answer except if you ask me something special but of course I read them all.
Yesterday we really had a lot of snow, it was quite terrible (even saw some something on CNN about it!). I had my point and shot and tried to take pictures as fast as possible. The picture about the Place des Vosges I uploaded was what I call a “lucky one”… you don’t really know what you do but it comes out good.
But today, after almost 2 weeks of grey sky the sun was back! snow, sun, blue sky... see what I mean? Had a tough decision to take: what to photograph? the Eiffel tower, the Invalides that were gorgeous in the morning light, the Concorde or the Luxembourg garden... I picked the Luxembourg garden because it's almost on my way to go to work.
1/ I couldn't reach the bus that gets me there because of the snow disruptions
2/ the garden was closed so I just took few pictures thru the gates
3/ Went back on the quays and to Notre Dame and it was beautiful
4/ Strolled in the IIe saint Louis and the Marais, that was great
5/ At lunch time I walked thru the Marais again in other streets to go the quays (the other bank from the morning)
6/ Took pictures of the Place des Vosges "the day after"
7/ Came home tonight with 345 photos!!!!
8/ This one is sooc, in the back it’s the Ile saint Louis, almost the same view as

9/ you'll see more pictures in the next days, I promise
10/ Hope you had a wonderful photo-day too
Thanks to you for your photos and your inspiration.
I have almost 2000 photos from our journey and I will publish many of them on my new Zaplife sites, where I can put tens of photos by few clicks.
Nice glimmering sunny snowy days there!
Can't wait to see the other pics. :-)
