Living between Paris and the countryside, love taking pictures, a lot of pictures...
Publish different ones from this project on my blog.

Laduree macaroons, be still my heart. These are my favourite treat. I get my fix at Le Panier in the Pike Place Market in Seattle, Washington. This photo is wonderful and really shows the elegance of this treat. Well done.
Love the composition and lighting in this photo. But most of all... love the subject! Hmmm... I have a friend who lives near Seattle... I may have to give her a call... ;-)
@parisouailleurs they are not the Laduree brand but Le Panier has been reviewed as having one of the best in the US. My comment may have been misleading!!
@Swazzette yes it's the list of the winter flavors from Laduree's macaroons... I think macaroons are made with almonds not coconuts but i can be wrong!
I would love to try these. I don't think I've ever had a real macaroon I love this photo, tho! It's so festive & perfect for the season! It makes me want to be in a city decorated for Christmas and walk along the avenues in the cold just looking at everything. Sigh. Maybe I should get out & go downtown. Lol.
@parisouailleurs - I think I know where the confusion comes from. We are BOTH right! I would call your cookies "meringues" and the chewy coconut cookie a "macaroon". This Wiki explanation may help:
A macaron is a sweet confectionery. Its name is derived from an Italian word "maccarone" or "maccherone". This word is itself derived from ammaccare, meaning crush or beat, used here in reference to the almond paste which is the principal ingredient.[1] It is meringue-based: made from a mixture of egg whites, almond flour, and both granulated and confectionery sugar.
Since the English word macaroon can also refer to the Coconut macaroon, many have adopted the French spelling of macaron to distinguish the two items in the English language. However, this has caused confusion over the correct spelling of the cookie.
Oh, i can't wait to go there in February! Been dreaming about salted caramel macarons. I have a list of patisseries to visit... feel free to share any favorites!
*drool* I could stand in front of that window like a little kid would stand in front of a toy shop.. Only thing that would get my attention more would be a diamond display, lol.. Lovely composition and perspective :)
