Many of you sent me very nice comments on yesterday's "total blue" picture and were wondering what was the story behind it. I want to thank you all and I'll try to explain the best I can.
The blue door is the side of the Eglise Saint Gervais Protais, a big church behind the city hall. I was taking pictures of the church when I saw this nun, a small lady in her blue clothes, trying to close the heavy door. I don't remember if I though that it was her bicycle, I just remember that I needed to capture this scene, the blue colors caught my eyes. Then she took the bicycle and started to walk. I knew that it would be my picture of the day and I was very impatient to come home and see them on my computer. I like both pictures and made a little post on my blog if you want to see the "story"! http://t.co/l3l7Ekt
This Christmas trees were taken yesterday too, it's in a little park in the Marais, pretty closed from the musée Picasso and my work.
Living between Paris and the countryside, love taking pictures, a lot of pictures...
Publish different ones from this project on my blog.

Red, red, red, red Silver! What gorgeous ornaments!
I remember one line from a movie that always made laugh:
"The blue door. Why do they call it blue you ask? Perhaps! For the sorrow that has enslaved everyone who passed through. Perhaps! for the constant rain that falls in the souls of all who enter,"
[ looks at door and sees it is blue] "Or that."
The blue door picture is very nice. What a coincidence everything would be blue at that moment.

Makes your blue photo even more interesting to know it was a nun and her bicycle.
