Meert

Meert is a very famous Confectionary in Lille (a town north of France) since the 18th century. They have the best Pain d'epices (ginger bread) to my taste. They opened a shop in Paris In the Marais few weeks ago. This morning I went to take pictures. http://t.co/jAHVCLT

C'est incroyable, comme toujours! Helene, if you could answer a question for me. I'll be in Paris next week, for ten days, and would like to take photos inside shops. What is the attitude of most Parisian shopkeepers- do you have any trouble, or any recommendations?

@cstewart I always ask and say that it's for a photo blog about Paris... well sometimes they say no and sometimes i do take pictures without asking but this are never good because i just have my camera around ny neck avec shot!

@cityesm Tu as raison Em, Ladurée est le meilleur à mon gout aussi. Chez Meert pas de gateau ni de macarrons (heureusement pour ma ligne et mon cholestérol) mais Carette vient d'ouvrir place des Vosges et c'est presque aussi tentant que Ladurée !
