While I was waiting for the bus, saw a lot people looking at the place des Vosges and policemen. Of course I went to see what was happening. A fire! This is kind of sad because the buildings are so old, builted in XVII century, but the good news is that there's no victim.

It's amazing what you see while waiting for or riding on a bus ... and you can stop and take a photograph without causing an accident. I love these little slices of real life that come in front of our cameras.
Great capture. Think how devistating a fire up this high would have been when the buildings were new. Modern fire fighting equipment clearly came in handy here.
