Just for fun: SOOC liberty

I swear it's sooc! I though I had a problem with my memory card but it's with the camera. some pictures are good, others are grey and this is one is... unexpected!
How strange! this would worry me... But the effect looks pretty cool!

@geertje I'm worried, my camera will go to its doctor tomorrow!!!
March 22nd, 2011
I've seen that at -35 Celsius...when my shutter froze. So it left part of the pic black...but this is maybe a chip-issue?
March 22nd, 2011
@aiksas thank you, nothing like -35° in Paris this morning! it happens more & more often I have to go to Nikon's store.
March 22nd, 2011
Not familiar with your camera, but looks like the sutter didn't move fast enough for all the colours...interesting problem.
March 22nd, 2011
Wow! It's cool, but I hope your camera will be ok!
March 22nd, 2011
Think you're unwillingly giving us a lesson on how digital cameras work...
March 22nd, 2011
Very cool effect, but definitely worrisome! Hope it gets fixed!
March 22nd, 2011
It,s a very effective result
March 22nd, 2011
Interesting effect!
March 22nd, 2011
That's weird! Hope it's nothing serious.
March 22nd, 2011
Very odd! I hope you're able to get your camera fixed!
March 22nd, 2011
"I really meant to do that".
March 22nd, 2011
This is a nice effect, if it doesn't cost an arm and leg to fix. :-)
March 23rd, 2011
Oh my! Hope it's okay...
March 23rd, 2011
Really cool and interesting effect, it looks like she's hiding behind a piece of blue glass. I hope the camera is okay, I would hate to have something like this happen routinely when you don't want it too.
March 23rd, 2011
Wow! What happened??? If you find out please share it with us. I don't think I've seen anything like this. I had problems with my memory card way back in November but it just deleted all my pictures. I guess not even digital is infallible.
March 23rd, 2011
@isisweiss Thank you Isis. in fact I take pictures and then the camera tells me to formate the card, I put it off and on and then can continue to take pictures but some of the older ones are created in jpeg on the card and I can't open them. Weird... I went to Nikon store this morning they don't know. I'll let you know. By the way this crazy blue is a first, the other time I have just a plane grey image. Digital is not infallible for sure; always transfert pictures and saved them with copies!!
March 23rd, 2011
Geezzzzzz! Well, saves you from having to buy PhotoShop.

@burns310 hahaha!... ugh!!! :-)

Which replica of the lady is this, Helene? I know there are several but didn't know there are two in Paris (Jardin du Luxembourg and Pont de Grenelle). And then there's the original plaster in the Musée des Arts et Métiers which would be great to see. I hope you fixed your camera issue - that is one thing us photographers (hobbyists or professionals) do not like to have! Cool accidental photo!

@bradsworld Good one, Brad! :)

@meredithwb this one is the Luxembourg garden !
March 25th, 2011
@isisweiss once again, thank you so much Isis. Nikon has changed the "card support", it was not too expensive & fast. Now I hope that was the problem! I need to use it to be sure :-)
