Some nice early morning weather this week, with clear skies and mist. So I have been up early and driving around the local countryside looking for inspiration.
And then I found the ideal spring photo. After 5 trillion shots, finally all the sheep looked at the camera (with a little bit of cropping) !
I haven't seen any lambs yet this year, which makes this image extra special. They do look vulnerable despite the close protection of mum. What a lovely capture.
@susiangelgirl - thanks for the comment, yes a slight frost that morning. @jeneurell@maryswartz@taffy@jackies365 - thanks all for your kind comments. I think the marks/colour are so the farmer can identify which lambs belong to which mother (if they get split up). Cheers Lee
Unbelievable - this is just fabulous - love the soft feeling created by the mist with such soft tones- and getting them all looking your way - great patience! Fav
I love it...this is absolutely fantastic!!! Looks at their cute faces peeking at you through the mist, just lovely, instant fav! AND 5 trillion shot, WoW...that's dedication ;) glad your persistence paid off TP & PP, well done.
This is a wonderful shot! I adore sheep which is just as well where I live. Surrounded by them from my garden wall and beyond as far as the eye can see. Fav.
