Day 208: We took a trip to "Falkenberg" in the west of Sweden and a cemetery called "Skrea Skogskyrkogård" (The forest cemetery) where my paternal great-grandparents are buried.
What a well-kept stone...while I was home visiting my dad in Buffalo, NY this summer we went to the cemetery where my paternal grandparents are buried. It was sad to see that no one had been there for ages b/c their stones (which lie flat in the ground) were almost covered with overgrown grass. We had no tools with us so used our hands to pull away the overgrowth.
My grandmothers sister died last year and she is buried in the same grave as her parents, I think her grand-children are taking care of the grave. Otherwise old graves are seldom that well kept.
