This is another shot from my long exposure workshop on the white water river last night. It was almost dark when I took this shot which created the muted blue tones of the water.
I'm sorry that I have not had a chance to visit your albums this weekend. I have missed seeing all your wonderful images! We are off to an evening of outdoor theater now so I will look forward to catching up with you tomorrow.
I have never done long exposure (unless by accident, which is how I do most of my photography), but this is really inspiring. Love how the rock is in perfect focus and the long exposure creates the flow and tones. Favtastic of course.
Wow, what a stunning image... I do love the flow and the gorgeous blue. Your work is amazing, Lisa! I've wanted to try long exposure also and hope to do so this summer when I visit the west coast! Thanks for the inspiration!
Beautiful shot Lisa. Love the lighting and exposure is just right. You've framed it perfectly with the rock. Water is milky but with enough definition for notion of movement. I want to learn how to do this! Love it - FAV!
Instant fav, Lisa! This is glorious! What outdoor theatre performance did you attend? I'm planning on going to Shakespeare in the Park in KC this week. :)
Sounds like an awesome workshop! Did you get any good tips to share? I really love the patterns that you got here in the water, as well as the muted colors. Stunning.
@yaorenliu Yes, we enjoyed the theater. It was a perfect summer evening. We picnicked and watched Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing". It was great! Thanks for asking. :) Thank you also for following my project. I appreciate your support!
@kareenking Hi Kareen, sorry for not responding earlier. Still trying to catch up! We attended "Much Ado About Nothing". It was a great production. It's a family tradition to attend in the summer. We pack a picnic and make an evening of it. It sounds like KC has a similar summer event.
@riverlandphotos I'm blown away that you viewed and commented on so many of my photos this evening. I know that takes a lot of time and effort, and I really appreciate it.
