I was walking along an irrigation canal when I spotted this motorbike parked under a bridge at the bottom of the canal. The water had just days before been turned off and the canal was drying out. Due to the drowning dangers of these canals - steep concrete walls with no exit possibilities - there are strict rules against accessing them. It was, therefore, a mystery to see a bike parked in it and no rider in sight. I shot this from above looking into the canal. I liked the textures in the concrete and the shadows.
I would like to thank you all for you wonderful comments to my last posts. I love to read them all. I am struggling to respond in kind due to time constraints, but will visit your albums asap. I already miss seeing what you have been up to....my day just doesn't feel complete without my full 365 fix!
See, if it had been me I would have been frustrated the bike was in the way of the scene, but I think it actually makes it, having seen this. Well spotted.
@gozoinklings Yes and NO... I do miss the freedom of my non employed days. On the flip side, a little extra $$ will help fund purchases (i.e. photography equipment) that would otherwise not be in the family budget. Trying to think of the positives... :)
Mysterious subject..
