I am very lucky to have two sons who enjoy playing the piano and who fill our home with beautiful music. My older son has been preparing Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" for an upcoming recital. He is playing it here for me. I decided to combine the Technique Challenge on shaped bokeh (which turned out to be quite a challenge!) with my sweet son making the music I love.
Lovely bokeh- wonderful shot! My youngest son has always loved piano lessons ( unlike my other 2 kids) and now at 26 he loves his job…as a piano teacher!
Good for him- and that's great that both your sons love playing the piano. Boys are usually drawn to the more flashier (electric guitar) or noisier (drums!) instruments. I love the piano and used to play a long time ago. The picture sums up your feelings quite well.
Lucky you to have kids who play....pure torture at our house trying to get my two to practice! The photo is lovely. So artistically conceived and created.
This is beautifully done! Love to know how you got the heart shapes so perfect - mine were a little angular to say the least! My daughters play the piano and I also love listening to them playing.

Beautiful shot and such fun loving bokeh! And I so love Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata! Now I am inspired to dust it off and play it! I was a church pianist for 7 years, and so really left my classical roots for a while, but they always come back! Tell him he MUST learn the 3rd movement. It's a KILLER!
I love that piece of music but it always gave me cramp in my hands when I tried to play it. The position of the hands and that lovely heart shaped bokeh make for a very charming image.
I am sorry my friend but you will put up and bear with all these lovely comments if you keep treating us to such wonderful visual treats ... wish we could hear him play :-)
