Castle in the Clouds

It rained through the night and began to clear this morning. Dramatic skies drew me out early for photos. This house sits alone on top of a mountain making for a curious and striking sight. I was located in the canyon below, looking up at it when the clouds parted and the sun illuminated the top of the ridge for a few moments. I love how the mist crawls up the mountain side and the stormy skies dwarf the lonely house.

I processed this in Silver Efex. It has been great fun to work on BW this month with the BW Bookclub. Thank you to Katie @archaeofrog for leading the club. I have learned a lot!
