I had the opportunity to try a Lensbaby for the first time during my photography competition last weekend. This image was taken with a Lensbaby Composer Pro with Sweet 35 optic. I have long admired the special look of Lensbaby shots taken by the experts on this site, but soon learned that there is definitely a steep learning curve involved. Finding focus is tricky! This was one of my better efforts, but I realize I have a long way to go. It was fun to play with and I'd love to try some more. A LB has now been added to my photography wish list.
Thank you all for your wonderful responses to my recent images. I was blown away to see them on the TT this week. I so appreciate your support in all ways. Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Easter!
I would love to play around with one too but I know they can be tricky to use. I love the colours in this Lisa and the beautiful softness at the edges.
Very beautiful image, Lisa. I always appreciate hearing about your photographic experiments which I admire so much. I have yet to put as much effort in understanding my camera and the science of photography as I should. I have so many irons in the fire and am currently content with the therapy of the hunt for the beauty that surrounds me.
Very nice spring tones Lisa! That's the lens I hope to get as a birthday present next month! ;) A friend of mine uses it and she creates such wonderful art with it. Hope to have her teach me some tricks so I don't get too frustrated learning the ways of the lens.
This is so beautiful and it has that lensbaby magic going on....lensbaby gives such intriguing results when used well and I would be very interested to see more of those from you. Congrats for well deserved TT!
Thank you for the generous comment as well as the fav on my camera-shy parrot pic.
It would be fun to try a Lensbaby.
