I love these blue flax flowers that grow wild at this time of year. I saw the first large patch of them blooming today and set out with my lens baby macro to try to get a shot for the day. It doesn't seem like it would be such a difficult undertaking, but the combination of the tiny focal plane of the LB and a steady (and aggravating!) breeze made it a challenge. Out of 30 photos, only 3 were in focus!
glad i'm not the only one with your story! and you end up so grateful for even ONE in focus! I have tried a lot of manual focusing lately...i had fog the other day and had such a hard time trying to focus on the actual FOG. none of them came out. this is stunning in it's simplicity. love it.
This is such a stunning shot!
