I very often see the two people on the left at the bus stop as I walk to work. I managed to grab this shot just as the bus pulled up behind me, which is why the two people on the right are looking towards me. The chap on the left had only just manage to light up his cigarette, only to have to put it out a few seconds later. Probably the best outcome, health-wise, I suspect.
Wonderful candid shot. My get pushed challengethis week is street photography which is way out of my comfort zone!! This shot is inspiring me though. I love the processing.
@masosy Thank you. I'm far too cowardly to walk around with a proper camera and get noticed, so I tend to take my street ones on my phone whilst pretending to do something else!
Ha! Your comment about the two ladies looking toward you with the bus coming confused me only for a few seconds -- then I realized you're in the UK. Over here they'd be looking the other way for the bus. I too would be pretty cowardly about attempting street photography. Good for you for trying and getting this very nice shot.
@philr How sneaky! LOL. My cell phone is terribly old so I have to use my proper camera. I am terribley nervous about street photography but I am going to take my family with me as cover :)
Great candid camera work. I'm with you about how to be discrete in photographing people outside, the quality of phone camera is getting so good they are the ideal tool for the job. Really like the B&W treatment. A 'picture of health' :)
A fav for me - wonderful photo - love the pov, B&W and the curve of the street - I am trying to become bolder out on the street with photos too...I do the phone thing...or hold my camera down in front sneakily clicking....doesn't often work out well though..hahahaha
