I love these paper wasp nests. The queen starts this nest after hibernating all winter and then lays her fertilized eggs that will become her worker bees and next years Queen! fascinating. I love the way you have captured the detail!!
AWESOME picture, Teresa!! I love the detail of it. So fascinating. I would've never been able to get that close, however, in fear of a million tiny bee's flying out and stinging me all over ;-).
This is a gorgeous find and a wonderful picture! When I've found one that's fallen, I can never bring myself to throw it out!
I see you're very new here; I didn't recognize you name when you responded on the thread. Glad I followed you here to say "Welcome to 365!" I'm like you, doing little-to-nothing to edit my pictures. I'd love to try some variety, but time constraints get in the way. In the end, I have to think a little harder about what I'm doing when I'm behind the camera. Looking forward to seeing what you have to share with us, too!
