This particular tomato was so photogenic that I wrote a note expressly asking all family members not to consume or otherwise dismember this tomato until I had taken a photo of it. xD

This so gets the tomatoeyness of tomatoes, the lighting, soft sheen, stalk and perfect ever so slightly muted red. Excellent.

love the depth of field in this, we learned about this in class the other night and I can't wait to try it out with my new camera when it arrives, hopefully tomorrow.
