Love the soft tones in this. Can I ask you why you decided to go for the f/1.4 rather than the f/1.8? I want to buy a 50mm for my next lens and love the bokeh and dof in yours but I'm not sure whether it is worth the extra money. Thanks :)
@traeumerlein I think the extra stop in the f/1.4 really adds something in terms of depth. I think it's a more versatile lens. But I do understand it's much pricier than the still quite good f/1.8, and the f/1.8 is amazing value for its price, so if you're looking for a 50mm prime that won't hurt your wallet, go for the f/1.8 :) But if you can afford the f/1.4, I do think the difference is worth it. The photos are definitely more dramatic and striking with it.
