Alex and I spent the morning at his nan's house. She taught us how to make sausage rolls and apple cream cupcakes. You're seeing the "before" cupcakes - we then cut a deep circle off the top, filled the hole with stewed apple and fresh cream, and then placed the top bit back on, so they looked like soldier cupcakes all standing in a line wearing official-looking hats. :D
