Today I did a paid shoot for a makeover and colour image specialist! This was one of the beautifully ornate chairs in her workspace. Had a great shoot - very fun to work with :)

@breigh Thanks! I'd been doing this project for almost 2 years when I got my first paid gig :) Before then, I'd been volunteering to do shoots - mainly for family/friends/friends of friends (including for a play - that was so much fun!). It was a good way for me to work up confidence, mainly because you're doing it for nothing so if something goes wrong you're not screwed. xD It was a no-pressure way to figure out what works (and what doesn't) in terms of your gear, how to communicate your ideas to the people there to get the best shot, interact with clients, etc :)
