Staying in a lodge on the bank of the Kinabatangan river in Sabah in Borneo - took a third boat trip today and managed to spot an orang-utan. We first saw his back, he turned around - gave us a quick look and then disappeared into his nest with only a hand showing.
@dh It was fantastic. The boat trips along the river were amazing - I need to sort out the rest of my photos but trying to find the picture I want to post from 200 pictures of monkeys is not so easy :) This is the only one I got of an orang-utan's face in the true wild - the ones in the rehabilitation were a lot more accommodating.
