I'm glad that your son is getting into this a bit. I have nieces just a bit older and thought about buying them cameras. But in this cellphone age, I'm not sure they would be interested in a regular camera.
@randystreat camera I have has f-stop, shutter speed & ISO on dials . I explained him the exposure triangle. How to change on my camera. I think he got hang of it... he needs just needs practice.... look moment camera app for iphone not sure if they have for android, it allows you to shoot raw and adjust shutter speed, f-stop and iso.
